Ashley and Jeff drove their UTV to an alpine lake in rural Trinity County, California to celebrate their elopement day. My husband and I met them at the nearest town and followed them north towards the Trinity Alps. Once we got to our destination, we unloaded the UTV’s and started the journey to an alpine lake way out in the middle of nowhere.
It was a cold day, with patches of snow around the lake. A granite peak rises high above the water and the lake is surrounded by conifer trees. We continued to explore the area near the lake taking couples portraits along the way.
Trinity County offers some of the most remote, unique elopement locations where it is possible to never see another human all day long!
